One of my best ideas at work, to date, can be seen below. On Monday I built an office for my office mate Torrey. He of course helped, construction was a 2 man job. I added the door (thank god i found that saw a few months back) and two windows. He added some decor, posters and such. It was a HUGE hit around here, in fact, rumors spread about a certain VP of the label who wanted to trade office with him (i can’t make this stuff up).
Moments ago, our head of finance, who i also play guitar with, came by to see what I had in my office (since I am leaving, everyone wants my stuff). He of course noticed the new office for Torrey and TOLD us we had to take it down.

We did that for Bob Plante. He always had an office without a door and would complain…alot. So one day while he was out the engineers put up a giant piece of cardboard over the entrance to his office. Then they cut a door in it and attached a handle. We cut a ‘doggy door’ for his small assistant Dan Ringwood. It stayed up for a botu 3 days, and we made a mail slot for Classic Rock Friday requests. Thats a whole other story.
